Have you ever wondered if the Washington House is haunted? Built in 1850 as an Inn and public house, in the 19th-century the venue provided lodging for newcomers, transients, and a few regular tenants. Meals were served in the bar room. Many souls have passed through the doors and not every soul has left. Our volunteers have told stories of odd things happening in the building.
